Well, so far I have spent over three hours typing the same post twice, and even did several saves and a copy, and it STILL didn't post!!!!!!!!!!  I guess a nice, positive, "warm fuzzy" post just can't make it to my blog!!! I don't know whether to be bummed out or pissed off. I think the latter won.

I am NOT going to spend another 2 hours on the same entry, but just to remind myself, I have been traveling back in time, mentally, to some of the very few HAPPY times I can remember from my childhood.  Two occasions really stand out and have been strongly on my mind lately.  Both happened before I was 6.  One was the time my mother spent the afternoon playing with me in my "playhouse" under the back porch.  The other was when my grandmother brought all her cooking things outside to scour them with sand in my sandbox that my granddad had built for me.  I didn't know until years later what she was doing...........I thought we were just playing in the sand.  I've also had a lot of trips back to my very early teens, and our summer visits to the grandparents in the mountains.  They lived WAY behind the times, even for that time.  It was always a great adventure for me to get to learn and do things "the old way".  I wrote some pretty nice accounts of those times, AND LOST THEM!!!!!!!!!!!  Well, maybe I can rewrite one account at the time,really get it all down, and actually get it posted!!!!  Odd, I NEVER have trouble posting the negative bitching, moaning and gripeing ones!  Oh, well.  That's life, I guess.  I have come to the conclusion that all these "flashbacks" are just MOTHER telling me that SHE is there and looking after me, even when I don't know what SHE is doing, or understand what SHE is trying to tell me.
